OB Celebrates 125 years!

Ocean Beach has begun a year long celebration of their 125th Anniversary. Every event in Ocean Beach through the end of 2012 will commemorate the community’s anniversary.

Ocean Beach is one of San Diego’s oldest communities and over the years the Ocean Beach Historical Society has preserved Ocean Beach history with their collection of photos and other memorabilia. Photos and stories will be shared throughout the year.  You can participate by sending photos and memories to be included in our celebration.

To share your memories or photos please email them to: info@OceanBeachSanDiego.com.  You can also participate by donating to the Anniversary fund through your purchase of one of our commemorative pieces of merchandise.  There are t-shirts, baseball hats, window decals and bumper stickers, reusable grocery totes, pint glasses and more.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this merchandise will go into funding waterfront beautification and other improvement projects throughout the community.  SHOP HERE.
