PLHS Surf Team beats undefeated Calrsbad!

The Point Loma Scholastic Surf Series Team, lead by Lou Ghio since 1996, has had a great season thus far.  They meet Tuesdays at the Ocean Beach Pier and compete with other teams in the Scholastic Series.  Over the years the Series has grown and they are now competing against schools all over the county. 

Here are their scores so far for this season:

Contest #1 – San Fernando Place in Mission Beach
Point Loma High 68 - Torrey Pines 67

Contest #2 – Avalanche –Ocean Beach
Point Loma 64 - La Jolla 68

Contest # 3 – Oceanside Pier
Point Loma 69 – Canyon Crest Academy 64

And most recently, this past weekend they had the opportunity to beat the previously undefeated Calrbad A Team!
