Members of the OBMA receive select promotional opportunities with well circulated publications such as the Ocean Beach Business Directory, Peninsula Beacon, City Beat and The SanDiegan.

Quarterly and Annual mixers along with other networking opportunities help small business owners get the word out about their business or service.

Special Events bring extra business to Newport Avenue and surrounding areas. Some notable annual events that the OBMA put together are:
