Ride to the festival for free! Go green and avoid the hassle of parking by riding a bike or taking a trolley to the Annual OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival. We will offer a free bike valet, sponsored by Gallagher Bolander Smedley, LLP, as well as five free trolleys from our friends at Old Town Trolley. Trolleys run continuously, so no one will miss any of the fun!
Trolleys
Avoid the hassle of parking and ride to the festival for free! Park near Robb Field or on Sea World Drive (at Pacific Highway) from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm. Trolleys run every 1/2 hour on the 1/2 hour from Robb Field and every hour from Sea World Drive.
Pick-up 1: Sunrunner Lot
It's a big dirt lot on the corner of Pacific Hwy. and Sea World Drive.
It is very convenient for those coming on I-5 to get off at Sea World Drive and just park.
Pick-up 2: Near Robb Field
At the north end of Ocean Beach. (We recommend parking at the Sunrunner Lot.)
Just to the south of West Point Loma Blvd. on Bacon St.
Drop-off: Artists Alley
Just relax and ride the trolley to the trolley stop at Santa Monica Ave. and Cable St. and stroll through Artists Alley!
Bike Valet
There will also be free, secure parking for cyclists throughout the day. The OBMA will provide a free bike valet area on Bacon St. @ Newport Ave. (just south of Newport Ave. on Bacon St.) starting at 10 am. There will be limited space available, so arrive early!
